Activities & Audit Record
A Green and Environment Audit Sub-Committee was constituted to conduct the Green and Environment Audit of the college, comprising the following members:

The committee conducted a comprehensive assessment of the college campus and prepared the Green and Environment Audit Report, which was submitted to the Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Jorhat, Assam, for expert review and technical validation.
After examining the report, RFRI provided comments and suggestions based on existing literature and professional experience. An RFRI team also visited the college on 25 May 2022 to inspect and verify the documented environmental management practices.

The team conducted an on-site survey, inspected the college's environmental management initiatives, offered further recommendations for improving sustainability practices, and provided a certificate.
At the committee's initiative, the college observed Green Friday on designated days to encourage sustainable commuting. Faculty, staff, and students voluntarily refrained from bringing motor vehicles onto campus, with the aim of reducing carbon emissions and building environmental awareness across the college community.
The college continued practising the "Green Friday" initiative through the session.

During the current session, the committee has initiated preparation of the next Green and Environment Audit Report for external audit submission. In line with recommendations from the previous audit report, the following actions have been prioritised:
- Preparation of a comprehensive tree inventory
- Construction of a compost pit for effective organic waste management
- Plantation of economically valuable tree species
- Green and Environment Audit Report
- Certificate
