Human resources are one of the most vital assets of an organization. It is the people who make other resources moving; they perform various activities in different functional areas like production, marketing, finance etc. The significance of human resources in a modern organization can be seen in the context of activation of non-human resources, means for developing competitive advantages and source of creative energy.

Human Resource Management, which was earlier known as Labour Administration, introduced in our college in 1986 as soon as the Dibrugarh University decided to start this subject as a Major subject.

VISION STATEMENT:

Our vision is to be recognized as the most approachable and preferred department with the innovative and results-oriented teaching -learning practices andenhancing learners into Talent Resources to fulfill the needs of the corporate world.

MISSION STATEMENTS:

  1. To impart the knowledge of management at the undergraduate level.
  2. To acquaint the aspiring students about Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, Trade Unions, ILO, Compensation management, Global Human Resource Management techniques etc.
  3. To offer consistent, comprehensive and cooperative services to the learners.
  4. To encourage collaborative and community development learning.
