Golaghat Commerce College (Autonomous) successfully conducted its Student Election on 28th September, 2026 through a digital platform, marking a significant step towards the adoption of technology in the electoral process of the institution. This was the first time the college conducted the election digitally, ensuring a systematic, transparent, and technology-enabled process. The election was conducted under the supervision of Returning Officer Mr. Rajesh Jaiswal and Assistant Returning Officers Dr. Shankar Jyoti Doley and Mr. Anjan Bharali. The dedicated efforts of the supervising team, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff played an important role in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the election. On the successful completion of the election, Dr. Utpal Sarma, Principal of Golaghat Commerce College (Autonomous), Golaghat, expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Returning Officer, Assistant Returning Officers, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff for their dedicated support and cooperation.
