On 6th Aug, 2026; Hon’ble Minister Smt. Ajanta Neog, inaugurated the Nijut Moina and Nijut Babu schemes for the eligible students of the college. These Government of Assam initiatives aim to support students by promoting higher education and providing financial assistance, thereby encouraging academic excellence and reducing barriers to education.
Addressing the gathering, Smt. Ajanta Neog emphasized the importance of quality education, student empowerment, and the role of educational institutions in nation-building. She appreciated the efforts of Golaghat Commerce College (Autonomous) in fostering academic excellence and encouraged students to make the best use of the opportunities provided through various government schemes.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Hon’ble Minister, invited guests, college authorities, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success.
